Yeshiva College held its ninth annual commencement exercises in its Nathan Lamport Auditorium this afternoon, awarding the degree of Bachelor of Arts to members of the graduating class and the honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters to State Education Commissioner Frank P. Graves.
Dr. Bernard Revel, president of the college, delivered the commencement address before the more than 1,500 guests. Samuel Levy, chairman of the board of trustees, offered the welcoming address. Dr. Graves was presented for the degree by Dr. Nelson P. Mead, Acting President of the College of the City of New York and member of the Yeshiva College Advisory Council.
