A $70,000 grant for research in the field of differential geometry has been awarded the Graduate School of Science of Yeshiva University by the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Harry E. Rauch, professor of mathematics, will direct the study. He said it would cover investigations in fields of pure mathematics, including aspects of geometry related to the theory of relativity and other topics of mathematical physics.
