The recent recommendations of the Sovnarkom to improve the economic conditions of the Jews are being ignored by the commissariats concerned, complain the Yevsektzia leaders today in reporting that twice when a conference to consider the details of how to carry out these recommendations was called it did not meet because the representatives of the different commissariats who must participate did not attend. Basence, the government bank’s representative, was especially criticized because the government bank has to approve all financial plans regarding the buying of raw materials and also the granting of credits.
