Shlomo Shoshan, the Israeli translator into Hebrew of the works of Soviet poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko, said today he had received a letter from the poet, thanking Shoshan for his translations. The letter, addressed to “Dear Shlomo,” expresses appreciation for the Hebrew translations.
