A Yiddish column in the Christian Seience Monitor was published in the newspaper’s edition of yesterday. The appearance of Yiddisn in the organ of the Christian Seience church is believed to be the frist attempt of the paper to attract the Yiddish reader. The column appears in the seetion, “The Home Foruni,” which frequenptly prints translations of the articles in languages other than English.
The article, entitled “Courage in the Crisis” advocates the principles of Christian Science and urges the reader to acquaint himself with the work. “Seience and Health with a Key to the Scriptures,” the work of the founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.
