A branch of the Yiddish Culture Society of the United States and Canada has just been organized here as an outgrowth of the course in Yiddish literature recently given by Dr. A. A. Roback under the auspices of the Massachusetts department of the University Extension and the Boston Community Institute. The Boston branch will hold bi-weekly meetings at the Jewish Welfare Center, Dorchester. For those of its members who do not yet speak and read Yiddish fluently, the society has organized free courses of instruction. It is also planned to organize a Yiddish dramatic club and a choral society.
