A local importer of foreign books and periodicals said today that the Warsaw Yiddish monthly “Yiddishe Shriften” has ceased publication. He gave this information to customers who wanted to renew their subscriptions. He said he was advised of the suspension by the Polish State Periodicals Export Co. which gave no reason for the closure of the magazine.
