A 15-year-old Israeli violinist was hailed by critics here today after his unheralded debut yesterday afternoon in Town Hall here. The violinist, Pinchas Zukerman, was the featured soloist at the 13th annual concert for the benefit of the United Nations Children’s Fund.
The Israeli artist, who is a protege of Isaac Stern, was lauded for his technique and personality which, in the opinion of one critic, was “capable of projecting with incredible force the most vivid emotional qualities.”
