The convention of the Young People’s League of the United Synagogue of America was opened in New York on Friday. Sessions were concluded on Monday.
A symposium was held at the Society for the Advancement of Judaism on “The Reciprocal Relations between Youth and the Developing Synagogue.” Dr. Jacob Kohn, Rabbi of Anshe Chesed Congregation, led the discussion.
The convention was in session on Sunday at the Hotel Pennsylvania. Rabbi Abraham Burnstein, S. Herbert Golden, president of the United Synagogue, Mrs. Samuel Spiegel, president of the Women’s League and Herbert J. Roeder, president of the Young People’s League, addressed the assembly.
