A symposium on the function of organization of Jewish young men and women will be one of the leading features of the seventh annual convention of the Young People’s League of the United Synagogue of America to be held at Temple Ansche Chesed, Manhattan, during the Thanksgiving week-end.
The program committee, of which Samuel Rabin is chairman, has invited Rabbi William S. Malev of Jamaica, Rabbi Benjamin Plotkin of Jersey City and Rabbi E. Chas. Sydney of Freeport to introduce the discussion. The opening address of the convention will be delivered by Rabbi Israel Goldstein of Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Manhattan, who was the first president of the Young People’s League.
