The national convention of the Young Poale Zion Alliance of the United States and Canada will open in Philadelphia on September 1. Over 100 delegates, and several hundred guests from all parts of the country, are expected to attend when the convention opens at the Brith Achim Auditorium.
The principal items on the agenda deal with the organization structure of the Young Poale Zion Alliance, its political activities in the Zionist and Labor fields and its program for American Jewish youth. The question of migration of American Jews as pioneers to Palestine will be an important point in the discussion. Golde Meyerson, of Tel Aviv, member of the Palestine Labor delegation to the United States, will be the principal speaker.
