Marion Filar, 27-year-old pianist now residing at the Zeilsheim DP camp, will give two concerts tomorrow and Sunday with the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra.
Filar, who will play Chopin’s first piano concerto at both performances, was a promising young pianist in Poland when the war broke out. Shortly after the conquest of Poland he was sent to the Oswiecim concentration camp.
