The National Jewish Youth Conference, sponsored by the National Jewish Welfare Board, closed its ninth annual conference here by adoption of a resolution calling on the United States State Department to develop a “positive peace policy that will enable Israel to remain the bulwark of democracy in the Middle East.”
The conference also voted to “reaffirm its faith in the righteousness of the Supreme Court decision concerning segregation.” It called upon all of its local units “to assist in the implementation of the desegregation program by positive action.”
