Representatives of Jewish youth organizations will meet at a conference, to be held at Temple Adath Israel, 169th street and Grand Concourse, Bronx, next Thursday evening, with the intention. of creating a central organization for all anti-Nazi activities.
Among the organizations to be represented are the junior divisions of the American Jewish Committee, American Jewish Congress, Young Israel, B’nai B’rith, Masada, Federation of Jewish Charities, Hadassah, Young Peoples League of the United Synagogues of America and about twenty other groups.
Borough President James J. Lyons will welcome the delegates on behalf of Bronx County. Other speakers will include Henry Epstein, first deputy Attorney General; Samuel Feller, deputy superintendent of insurance; Maxwell Mangold, secretary to the State Secretary and Sol Rubin, judge advocate general of the Jewish War Veterans.
