Jewish Current News, the only weekly newspaper devoted to the Jewish youth of America, will resume publication on October 19 and will appear regularly every Friday thereafter throughout the school year. This will mark the seventh consecutive year during which the publication (formerly Jewish Current Events) has been interpreting for the Jewish youth of America the outstanding events in the life of the Jewish people.
Jewish Current News will continue to present a concise picture of outstanding occurrences in Jewish life throughout the world, giving the Jewish boy and girl an intelligent approach to a proper understanding of the affairs of his people. The foremost Jewish educators in this country have given wholehearted endorsement to the weekly and are using it in their classrooms and club work. Its editorial policy has been such that it has met the need of every type of educational institution associated with every wing of American Jewry. Subscribers to it include schools, rabbis and educators identified with the Orthodox, Conservative and Reform branches of American Jewry.
As in the past, the publication will continue to be issued in connection with the Associated Talmud Torahs of Philadelphia.
