A committee of well-known New Yorkers is sponsoring the only New York appearance this season of the eleven-year-old Jewish boy violinist, Paul Musikonski, who will give a recital at Carnegie Hall the evening of December 12. A veteran of the concert stage despite his tender years, Musikonski, protege of Joseph Osborne, will be making his third New York appearance, made his debut two years ago at Carnegie Hall.
The committee includes Judge Jonah J. Goldstein, Judge Leopold Prince, Congressman Samuel Dickstein, George Gordon Battle, Mrs. Rebekah Kohut, Rabbi David de Sola Pool, Dr. Emanuel Libman, Rabbi Isaac Landman, Rabbi Israel Goldstein, Rabbi William Rosenblum, Elias Lieberman, B. C. Vladek, Edwin Franko Goldman, David M. Bressler, Emil Lengyel and David M. Brown, who is chairman of the group.
