“The entire Yugo-Slavian nation stands with you,” wrote Dr. Voyislav Marinkovitch, foreign minister of Yugo-Slavia to the annual convention of the Yugo-Slavian Zionist convention which opened here today. Dr. Marinkovitch promised that Yugo-Slavia would support Jewish rights and Jewish aspirations in Palestine.
A special delegate of Premier Zhivkovitch also greeted the convention. Dr. Isaac Alcalay, chief rabbi of Yugo-Slavia and Yugo-Slavian representative on the Council of the Jewish Agency, presided. He thanked the foreign minister for the attitude he took before the Mandates Commission.
