A huge protest meeting was held in Belgrade to protest “anti-Semitic action in countries of the Soviet bloc,”it was reported here to day from the Yugoslav capital. The report said 117 Yugoslav organizations and associations, including representatives of such groups as the Federation of Trade Unions, Federation of Fighters of the Peoples Liberation War and the Anti-Fascist Front of Women, took part.
The meeting adopted a resolution stating: “It is a historical fact that anti-Semitism is a classical weapon reactionary regimes, always used to make an unprotected minority a scapegoat for their own faults and thereby deflect public attention from the real causes of crises and failures.”
