Yugoslav Regent Hears Chief Rabbi Report on Life of Jews in Nation

Prince Regent Paul has received in audience Chief Rabbi Isaac Alkalay, who informed him on the life of the Jewish communities and on the recent Congress of Yugoslav Jewish Communities. The Union of Jewish Communities has published statistics showing that foreign Jews living in Yugoslavia total 624 families, numbering 2,182 individuals, in addition to 450 refugees residing in the country.
