A Yugoslav mechanic has been sentenced to two months’ imprisonment in the city of Subotica for making public anti-Semitic statements, it was reported here today.
The Yugoslav, Kovac Lukac, was convicted of violating a law forbidding incitement of national and racial intolerance when he reviled a Jewish woman, declaring among other things: “It’s too bad Hitler didn’t hang all the Jews.”
