A representative of the Immigration Department of the Jewish Agency left today for Belgrade to prepare the immigration of 300 Jewish families from Yugoslavia to Israel. A number of immigrant groups are expected to arrive in Israel next week from North Africa and Persia.
The Hungarian Government has approved 129 exit visas for Jews migrating to Israel, the Israel Foreign Ministry announced here today. The announcement said that the 129 visas came within a total of 3,000 which the Hungarian Government agreed three years ago to issue. So far, 2,700 Jews have arrived here under this agreement. The spokesman reported that Israel had no news about the immigration picture in Rumania and Czechoslovakia.
