Yugoslavia is prepared to help solve differences between Israel and Egypt if asked by both sides, according to a report by Tanjug, the official Yugoslav news agency.
Tanjug added that Yugoslavia had always pointed out, however, that the Arab-Israel dispute should be settled by direct negotiations to avoid the possibility of the conflict becoming an object of intervention by “the opposing blocs.”
