Nazi Germany today sent official Christmas greetings to Germans residing abroad.
The greeting, in the form of a message signed by Herr Bohle, head of the Nazi Foreign Lands Organization, boasts of Germany’s military growth and admonishes increased anti-Jewish activities in 1937.
The message makes capital of the recent slaying of Wilhelm Gustloff, Swiss Nazi leader, by a Jewish medical student who has been sentenced to 18 years imprisonment by a Swiss court for the crime, declaring:
“The year 1936 was a year of mourning for foreign Germandom, because the beloved Gustloff was assassinated by a Jew.”
The message concludes with a call to all Germans abroad to worship Chancellor Adolf Hitler.
