Yves Lambert, secretary-general of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) informed Zvi Caspi, Israeli Consul General and permanent representative of Israel to ICAO, that he had received official notification from Egyptian civil aviation authorities that “the state of war between Israel and Egypt has been terminated by ratification of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty on April 26.” Lambert also informed all member state representatives at ICAO headquarters about the notice of termination of was between Israel and Egypt.
