Z.O.A. Calls National Conference to Map Plans for the Sale of Israeli Bonds in U.S.

The first national conference sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America in behalf of the Israeli bond campaign will be held on March 11 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel it was announced here today. The bond issue is due to be formally launched on May 1. Manuel Posy was appointed director of the Z.O.A. Bond Campaign.

Benjamin G. Browdy, president of the Z.O.A., today made public a message he sent to Israel Premier David Ben Gurion assuring him that the entire Z.O.A. membership will be mobilized to help in the sale of the Israeli bonds in this country. “The initial response of our nationwide constituency to our call for mobilization in behalf of the bond drive is a striking indication of the whole-hearted manner in which American Zionists will support this undertaking,” the message said.
