The shipment to Israel by the Zionist Organization of America of the first of a group of commercial training planes was announced today by Benjamin G. Browdy, president of the organization.
The aircraft, which has already reached Israel, was presented to the Aviation Council in Tel Aviv, a civil group which trains commercial pilots for Israel’s aviation needs. The purchase of the training plane by the Z.O.A. was made under its program of technical aid to Israel, with further purchases of similar equipment planned in the near future.
