The Zim Line disclosed today that it had signed a contract with a Swedish shipbuilding firm for construction at the Goetesburg Yards of a 120,000-ton super-tanker. The vessel will be completed in two years and will cost $9,000,000.
Zim officials said the order was placed after the line had received assurances that the giant tanker would be fully employed for the next ten years in carrying oil to Israel.
