Unofficial talks between representatives of the British Government and leaders of the Jewish Agency continued today. They were devoted to discussions of steps to lessen the tension in Palestine. The Agency representatives declared that they would report the results of the talks to the Zionist Actions Committee which is scheduled to meet next week in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, it was reported here today from Palestine that British patrol vessels have been sent out of Haifa to intercept a ship allegedly carrying Jewish immigrants. Patrols were also sent to investigate a rumor that an immigrant ship had been seen off the Palestine coast near Hedera, but found nothing there.
