The World Zionist Executive announced today that the meetings of the Actions Committee, known as the “Little World Zionist Congress,” will open on March 27 in Jerusalem.
More than 100 delegates from all parts of the world will participate in this gathering at which the numerous questions concerning the political interests of the Jews in Palestine will be decided upon. Problems of economic interest in Palestine are also on the agenda and will be widely discussed at the conference.
TO SETTLE PARLEY DATE
One of the intriguing questions which the session in Jerusalem will be called upon to decide is whether the next World Zionist Congress is to be held this Summer or postponed for another year. It is expected that the session will decide in favor of holding the Congress at the end of the coming Summer in one of the Central European countries.
The Actions Committee will hold its sessions in the Jewish Agency Executive building. This is the second time in two years that the Actions Committee is meeting in Jerusalem.
The present convention, it is expected, will take up at length the problem of subordinating the Zionist Revisionists to internal discipline of the Zionist party. A serious decision which may affect the status of the Zionist Revisionists may be adopted at this session.
