Zionist Congress Agenda Announced in London

The Zionist solution of the Jewish question in Germany and the settlement of German Jews in Palestine will be featured in the fourth session of the Eighteenth World Zionist Congress which opens in Prague on August 21, according to the agenda of the Congress made public here today by the World Zionist Organization central office.

The Congress will be formally opened Monday evening, August 21 with formal welcoming speeches and a memorial address in honor of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff. The remainder of the agenda follows.

Second session, Tuesday morning: Election of the Congress presidium, report of the congress court on the election of delegates, address on the position of the Jews in the world.

Third session, Tuesday afternoon: Addresses on the Zionist Organization and its problems, problems of agricultural colonization of Palestine, problems of urban colonization with special reference to the Jewish middle-class, and problems and prospects of Palestine’s economic situation.

Fourth session, Tuesday evening: Addresses on the Zionist solution of the Jewish question in Germany and on the settlement of German Jews in Germany.

Fifth session, Wednesday morning: Reports on the Keren Kayemeth Le Israel, the Keren Hayesod and problems of national capital in Palestine. Election of Congress commissions.

Sixth session Wednesday afternoon through ninth session Friday morning: General debate, meeting of commissions.

Tenth session, Friday afternoon: conclusion of general debate.

Eleventh session, Sunday morning: Memorial address, address on Hebrew culture in Palestine, debate, meeting of commissions.

Twelfth session, Monday Afternoon: Reports of commissions, voting.

Thirteenth session, Tuesday morning: Reports and voting.

Fourteenth session, Tuesday Afternoon: Reports and voting, elections, Congress adjournment.

The third ordinary meeting of the Jewish Agency for Palestine will open August 31 and conclude September 1.
