Dr. Emanuel Neumann, leader of the Zionist Organization of America and member of the Jewish Agency executive, will be drafted as president of the ZOA at the forthcoming convention of the organization which opens on August 24 in Washington D.C., it was announced here today.
The announcement, Issued by the ZOA, said that a decision to this effect was taken at the final session of the National Administrative Council of the Zionist Organization of American held here last Sunday. The suggestion that Dr. Neumann be drafted was made by Abraham A. Goodman, chairman of the ZOA Inner Committee, and was warmly accepted by the Council.
