The General Council of the World Zionist Organization ended its session early today after it had adopted a resolution calling for establishment of a special economic council.

A special commission was named to investigate charges of unfair distribution of labor immigration certificates among various Zionist groups. It comprises representatives of all parties.

The session, which opened April 20, was closed with a review of the Council’s work by M. M. Ussishkin, chairman.

The Council cabled a message of encouragement to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, for successful continuation of the fight for establishment of a Jewish national home. A message of encouragement was sent to the new settlements in the dangerous Beisan area of the Jordan Valley. A special resolution was adopted calling for strengthening and encouragement of colonization in the Galilee district.

The small administrative committee in Jerusalem of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, establishment of which was approved by the Zionist General Council, was decided upon by a meeting of the Jewish Agency executive in London, and not by a plenary session of the administrative committee as incorrectly reported in yesterday’s News Dispatches.
