The Manor textile factory at Jidda has been acquired by the Zionist Executive and will be re-opened shortly. Employment will be given in preference to local residents, who will also have the right of acquiring the factory for themselves after five years.
Several textile experts have stated their opinion that the factory may become a paying concern if properly conducted.
