Plans of Jerusalem Executive Depend on Further Remittances (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Great financial difficulties are now being faced by the new Jerusalem Executive owing to the absence of sufficient funds to carry on its work. It was stated here that the difficulties now facing the Zionist Executive are due especially to the fact that the minimum monthly quota promised by the Zionist Organization of America is not being filled.
“During the month of September only $50,000 were received here from America and so far nothing at all for October,” it was stated here today at the headquarters of the Keren-Hayesod. It was added that the plans of the Zionist Executive are endangered if the American Zionist Organization will not remit the monthly quota regularly.
