The Zionist Federation educational network now sponsors 10 schools in London and other parts of Britain with a total of 120 classes, 158 teachers and 3,190 pupils, it was disclosed last night at a dinner of the Friends of the Zionist Federation Educational Trust. The event was held in memory of the late Lord Marks of Broughton.
Announcement was made of the establishment of the Simon Marks Memorial Fund and the naming of one of the Zionist Federation Schools as the Simon Marks Day School. Lord Sieff of Brimpton said the educational network of the Zionist Federation had revolutionized Jewish life in Britain. Dr. Nahum Goldmann was the guest speaker at the dinner.
