The Philadelphia Zionist Organization assumed sponsorship of a needle trade school in an Israel “youth village,” it was announced at a dinner last night marking the opening of the Philadelphia Zionist Fund campaign.
The village, named for Dr. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the World Confederation of General Zionists, and a former Philadelphian, will be known as the Israel Goldstein Youth Village, a needle trade school at Katamon, a suburb of Jerusalem.
