The Zionist Organization of Canada has sent Canadian goods valued at over $5,000,000 to Israel in the last 18 months, Samuel E. Schwisberg, co-president of the organization, announced here.
The goods were purchased from the proceeds of the United Israel Appeal or contributions to the Materials for Israel campaign. Shipments thus far in 1951 include $1,500,000 worth of lumber and $135,000 worth of beef.
