A Pan American section of the world executive of the Herut-Revisionist movement was established today at the closing session of a three-day meeting of the executive. Joseph Klarman of Israel was elected to head the new section which will have its headquarters here.
Following discussions on problems facing the right-wing Zionist movement in the western hemisphere, reports were presented by representatives from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia and Peru.
Delegates agreed to convene a Pan American Congress in New York with the participation of Menachem Beigin, leader of the Herut in Israel and with Herut members of the Knesset. No date was announced. The executive also declared that "The Pan American section of the Revisionist movement will maintain contact with the American section of the Jewish Agency. "
