A resolution requesting President Roosevelt to negotiate with the British Government for the lifting of Palestine entry restrictions and restoration of the absorptive capacity principle of immigration was adopted today by a rally of more than 1,000 Zionists at the Hotel Pennsylvania. Another resolution called for united support of Zionist fund-raising campaigns. Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the Jewish National Fund, presided. Reports were given by Delegates to the Zionist General Council meeting in London.
