An emergency conference to deal with the new and sericus developments in the Zionist political situation was called today by the Zionist Federation of Great Britain fellowing a report by Reuter’s that the major demands of the Jewish Agency have been declared unacceptable by a sub-committee appointed by Prime Minister Attlee to draft the government’s policy with regard to Palestine.
The conference, which will be held on Monday, will meet in camera. It will be addressed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann and other members of the executive of the Jewish Agency. A communique will be issued to the press at the conclusion of the session.
