Headed by Nathan Straus, Hermann Conheim, Henrietta Szold and Morris Rothenberg, Isaac Meister as Treasurer, Israel Goldberg as Secretary and David Tannenbaum, Chairman of the Central Zionist Committee, the Zionists of Greater New York will greet Mr. Louis Lipsky, leader of American Zionism, on his return from Europe and his first visit to Palestine.

The Reception Committee has arranged for the Mayor’s boat to meet the “Aquitania”, on which Mr. Lipsky is returning and which is scheduled to arrive here either Tuesday evening, the ninth, or Wednesday morning. From there, by special dispensation of the Treasury Department in Washington, Mr. Lipsky will be escorted by the Reception Committee on the Mayor’s boat, flying the American and Jewish flags, to City Pier A. In automobiles decorated in blue and white the Reception Committee will proceed to Zionist headquarters, 114 Fifth Avenue, where an informal welcome will be given to the Chairman of the Zionist Organization of America.

A formal reception to Mr. Lipsky will be given under the auspices of the Zionist Organization of America and the Keren Hayesod on Sunday, December 14th, at the Roosevelt Hotel, Madison Avenue and 45th Street.
