The fourteenth annual New England Zionist Regional convention will be held in the Municipal Auditorium of Nashua, N. H., Saturday evening and all day Sunday. Elihu D. Stone of Boston is president of the body.
Highlights of the convention will include addresses Sunday by Louis Lipsky, member of the executive committee of the World Zionist Organization, and Jacob Fishman, editor of the Jewish Morning Journal. Both have returned recently from Europe and Palestine and will report on conditions there.
Other speakers will include Rabbi H. H. Rubenovitz, of Temple Mishkan Tefila, Boston; Alexander Brin, editor of the Jewish Advocate; Mayor Alvin C. Lucer of Nashua, N.H.; Mrs. Lewis Goldberg, Hadassah leader, and Robert Silverman, national United Jewish Appeal director. Mr. Stone will preside.
A reception and dance in honor of the delegates will formally open the convention Saturday evening. Children of the Nashua Hebrew School will greet the assembly Sunday morning.
