A large memorial meeting in honor of Chaim Nachman Bialik, the Hebrew poet laureate who died last month, will be held Aug. 13, at eight o’clock, at the Hotel Statler. This meeting initiated by the New England Zionist Region is called under the joint auspices of the New England Zionist Region, Poale Zion, Mizrachi, Agudath Hamorim and Mizrachi.
The chief speaker will be Abraham Goldberg, scholar and Zionist publicist, who was personally acquainted with the deceased poet over a period of many years. Other speakers will be Rabbi H. N. Rubenovitz of Temple Mishkan Tefila, who during his sojourn in Palestine, met the great poet on several occasions.
