The Zionists of America will express their grief at the passing of Arthur James, the Earl of Balfour, at a memorial meeting which will be held at Mecca Temple on Thursday eevning, March 27th, according to an announcement issued by Meyer W. Weisgal, Secretary of the Zionist Organization of America, which is sponsoring the memorial meeting together with its affiliated bodies, Hadassah, the Jewish National Fund and the Order Sons of Zion.
Many Jewish leaders will pay tribute to the memory of Lord Balfour and to the part he played in aiding the rebuilding of Palestine as the Jewish National Home. Several non-Jews, who were personal friends of Lord Balfour, have also been invited to participate in the meeting. Dr. Stephen S. Wise will be chairman of the occasion.
