Confidence that the Administration in Washington will carry forward the traditional American policy of friendship for Israel was voiced at the New England Conference of the Zionist Organization of America’s Commission on Israel and the Middle East, held at the Hotel Statler here.
Approximately 150 leaders of ZOA districts in the New England area participated in the all-day working conference, which was designed to provide a complete picture of the political situation confronting both Israel and the Zionist movement today. It was the third conference of this type organized by the Commission on Israel and the Middle East. The previous briefing and orientation meetings were held in New York on February 15 and in Chicago on March 22.
