American Zionists will lend all their resources to continuing a never-ending flow of visaless immigrants to Palestine in defiance of the British blockade, the national administrative council of the Zionist Organization of America pledged today in a resolution adopted by 250 members from 40 states throughout the country.

The resolution came after Zionist leaders of the United States and Palestine had bitterly denounced British policy in the Holy Land and expressed doubts that Britain was sincere in its avowed decision to place the entire Palestine issue in the lap of the United Nations.

Dr. Moshe Sneh, a member of the executive of the Jewish Agency, urged that there be no further negotiations between Agency leaders and Foreign Minister Bevin, since all previous talks have been “futile.” He predicted that Britain will not accept any decision of the U.N. which runs counter to its policy of “strangling the progress of Zionism.”

Speaking with unprecedented frankness and bitterness, Dr. Sneh called for “permanent resistance to the anti Jewish regime in Palestine, continuance of socalled illegal immigration and the arousing of public opinion throughout the world against British imperialism in Palestine.”

Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, president of the ZOA and chief American member of the Agency, called on the U.S. Government, as a leading member of the U.N. to exercise its influence in that body to secure — pending a final settlement — measures to compel Britain to fulfill the obligations of the Mandate and to admit 100,000 Jews immediately to Palestine. Dr. Emanuel Neumann expressed doubt that Britain intends to relinquish the Mandate, no matter what action is decided upon by the U.N. The administrative council, after hearing Drs. Silver and Neumann, adopted a resolution asking the U.N. to issue an interim decision requiring that the provisions of the Mandate be applied.

The delegates also resolved that Britain’s appeal to the U.S, to take over in Greece should not be acted upon separately but in context with the whole political situation in the Middle East, including the Palestine question. They also attacked Bevin’s recent criticism of President Truman as “vulgar, insulting and misleading.”

The delegates also endorsed the projected goal of the ZOA for 1,000,000 members within two years and for the raising of $1,000,000 this year to finance an end larged program of public relations and education.
