ZOA Receives Highest U.S. Award for Selling $10,000,000 Worth of War Bonds

The Zionist organization of America today received the Treasury Department’s highest award for the success of its February war bond campaign, which is expected to bring in a total of $12,500,000. Reports so far received show that $10,300,000 worth of bonds have been sold.

William C. Fitzgibbons, special assistant to Secretary of the Treasury Henry Morgenthau, Jr., presented the certificate of merit to Judge Morris Rothenberg of New York, chairman of the organization’s National War Effort Committee, at ZOA headquarters here.
