The services of Professor Hermann Zondek, noted German Jewish physician who was forced to flee from Germany, are being widely sought. It was learned here today that Professor Zondek will be definitely invited to head the Pathological Institute which is being created here as part of the Warsaw Jewish Hospital. The institute is being built with the aid of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and a special loan is being granted by the Polish Government Bank.

It is also learned that the newly organized Academic Assistance Council, created in England to aid scientists and professors forced out of their posts by the Nazis, is considering the possibility of bringing Dr. Zondek to Liverpool to continue his work.

The possibility that the noted physician might settle in Palestine is also not excluded, although Palestine doctors are not inclined to look with favor on the opening of another clinic. A number of German doctors have already settled in Palestine and others are expected.
