Philip Zuckerman, American citizen who last week was injured when he was attacked by a group of storm troopers in Leipzig, was on his way to Marienbad today, where he intends to spend some time in a hospital. Representations by American consular officials to the German authorities resulted in a promise on the part of the Nazis to find and punish the men guilty of assaulting Zuckerman.
It is believed here that an investigation is not likely to discover the attackers of Zuckerman since a large Nazi group carried out the attack. They were all dressed in the same kind of uniforms, making identification practically impossible, unless all the storm troopers in Leipzig were held.
