Considerable uneasiness is reported to be felt in Jewish circles in the Ukraine as a result of the reappearance of the robber bands said to have been newly equipped and organized on Polish soil. Vestiges of the last bands were reported stamped cut throughout the Ukraine, but it appears that despite the incessant warfare waged against them by the Government, remnants of the bands succeeded in mustering more forces.

Ample protection against attacks are said to have been provided, but the Jews are in a highly nervous state. The Ukrainian Government has sent a note to the Warsaw Government protesting that the bands were allowed to cross into the Ukraine.
